Teaching Excellence Awards for 2016
Congratulations to Dr Laura Andreae of the Anatomy Department who has received a King's College London Teaching Excellence Award.
Laura teaches neuroscience, neuroanatomy, development and topographic anatomy across undergraduate programmes. Her laboratory is part of the Department of Developmental Neurobiology and researches the formation of synaptic connections in the brain.

The Museum of Life Sciences will open to public on June 1st 12.00 - 16.30.
All welcome including accompanied children.
The Museum is within the Hodgkin Building with a separate entrance from the grassy quad at the heart of Guy's Campus

Service of Thanksgiving for Body Donation: May 20th
The annual service of thanksgiving for all who donated their bodies to medical and biomedical education will be held at Southwark Cathedral at 11 am on Friday May 20th. The service is organised by the London Anatomy Office on behalf of the London and South East Committee of Anatomists.
This year's address will be given by Giles Fraser who reflects on his visit to King's Dissecting Room and the gift of body donation in the Guardian.
