Dr Gillian Sales, curator of the Museum of Life Sciences and the Department of Anatomy have been jointly awarded a grant for their project ‘Inspiring Aspiration in Science’ from Widening Participation at King's College London.
This project will develop science-based teaching resources for 10-14 year olds to use in the Museum of Life Sciences, alongside delivering a series of workshops to pupils in years 7-9.

Hands-on Anatomy Academy June 23 to July 23
The Anatomy Department is offering students at King's College London a unique opportunity to develop and refine dissection skills and knowledge in a free-of-charge 4 weeks summer academy. The course focuses on practical dissection skills for the development of topographical and applied anatomical knowledge.

Service of Thanksgiving for Body Donation: May 15th
The annual service of thanksgiving for all who donated their bodies to medical and biomedical education will be held at Southwark Cathedral at 11 am on Friday May 15th. The service is organised by the London Anatomy Office on behalf of the London and South East Committee of Anatomists
